The long-running and award-winning Ubisoft series’ upcoming game, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, was supposed to come out this year, but a fresh report suggests that it might get delayed. The inference from the story is that the game will be postponed beyond this year and until 2024. The source of the information is ScriptLeaksR6, a well-known Ubisoft leaker who earlier today gave us our first glimpse of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’s gameplay.
Mirage + Orlando -> Likely Delayed
Mirage still runs on "old" Assassin’s Creed engine.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage may get delayed
We don’t know why the delay is only “likely” and not certain; the leaker doesn’t give any further data. But does mention that it is not certain but “likely.” Yet, if there are discussions about postponing the game, it will almost certainly be delayed; it is unlikely, though, that it would be delayed through the end of the current fiscal year (2023), as Ubisoft will probably depend on it for the next one. For the benefit of those who are unaware, the fiscal year 2023 ends on March 31, 2024.
Take this report with a grain of salt for the time being. Even while the source in question appears trustworthy, nothing changes the fact that everything is unofficial and, based on what it sounds like, uncertain. The official release date for Assassin’s Creed Mirage is unspecified for this year. Ubisoft hasn’t said exactly when this year, and it appears that it hasn’t given a date because one isn’t yet finalized. Further information about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game is provided below:
“In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you are Basim, a cunning street thief with nightmarish visions seeking answers and justice. Join an ancient organization and come to understand a new creed-one that will change Basim’s fate in ways he never could have imagined. The game’s official description adds: “Become the most versatile Assassin in franchise history. Parkour seamlessly through the city and leverage the largest assortment of tools to date. Get contracts at the Assassin’s bureaus, collect vital clues, and stealthily take down targets with more visceral assassinations than ever before.”
