Far Cry 7 leaker said the development has not yet begun

The leaker claims that Far Cry 7 has not yet begun development, thus it is still some time off. If this is true, there will be a significantly longer lag between Far Cry 6 and Far Cry 7 than there was between Far Cry 5 and Far Cry 6. Even though the wait was only three years, there is no chance that Far Cry 7 will be able to release the following year, as that would need a repeat of the previous wait.

Once more, if this story is accurate, the game won’t be available until at least 2026. Fans of Far Cry, who are accustomed to receiving new games fairly frequently, would have to wait five years, which is a very long time.
