With a fresh leak linked to creator FromSoftware, Elden Ring 2 rumors have begun to spread. Elden Ring, according to most accounts, was the biggest game that ultimately went on sale in 2022. It garnered multiple Game of the Year awards in addition to selling an astounding amount of copies on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. As a result, it appears certain that FromSoftware will eventually produce a sequel. Elden Ring 2 is undoubtedly still a ways off. But we have already seen our first sign that it might be in the works.

Elden Ring 2 rumors grow after the FromSoftware leak
According to a notable FromSoftware employee who was spotted on Twitter by user “Timur222,” the studio is currently working on another unnamed project. Kenneth Chan, a director and producer at FromSoftware, mentions on his LinkedIn profile that the business has been teasing a new game of some sort since January 2022. Chan didn’t provide any other explanation about what the game might be. But given the popularity of the first installment, Elden Ring 2 is a very plausible contender.
Of course, it’s important to emphasize that Elden Ring 2 is by no means a lock for this mystery game. Despite the fact that a sequel is quite likely, FromSoftware has demonstrated recently that it is willing to working on a range of different games. Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is scheduled for release later this year. Also, it will represent FromSoftware’s first return to the Armored Core series in more than 10 years. Also, it is actually being co-directed by Chan.
The only thing about Elden Ring’s future that is currently guaranteed is that it will eventually receive DLC. About a month ago, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco declared that a new expansion titled Shadow of the Erdtree was now under development. Although a release date for this add-on wasn’t specified, at the very least, it is now known that FromSoftware is still working on the Elden Ring series.
