Devout Harry Potter fans and RPG enthusiasts want to get their hands on Hogwarts Legacy as soon as possible, as it is one of the most anticipated games of 2023. Hogwarts Legacy early access
Only the Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy, which includes 72 hours of early access to the game, is available for purchase. The early access launch date is thus February 7, 2023. In addition to accessing to the game earlier, the Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC and comes with a number of other bonuses. Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition has the following supplemental materials:
- 72 hours early access to Hogwarts Legacy
- Onyx Hippogriff mount (pre-order exclusive)
- Dark Arts Garrison Hat
- Dark Arts Pack containing the Thestral Mount, Dark Arts Cosmetic Set, and the Dark Arts Battle Arena
Due to the Deluxe Edition extras and additional features like a steel case, the more expensive Collector’s Edition also comes with Hogwarts Legacy early access.
Throughout its creation, Hogwarts Legacy has received a great deal of criticism, partly because J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books, has made a number of transphobic comments online recently.
Although Avalanche has stated that J.K. Rowling is not “involved” in the creation of Hogwarts Legacy, it is collaborating with “her team” and Portkey Games, a Warner Bros. division tasked with releasing new experiences based on the author’s original works. Although it is currently unknown, considering that the game is based on her original body of work, it is likely that she will receive royalties from its sale.
