It appears that two new PS5 DualSense controllers that will be sold may have been mistakenly leaked by Sony. Sony has gradually increased the variety of color schemes that the DualSense is offered in. That’s been like this, since the PS5’s launch back in 2020. And while the current DualSense Edge has been the most notable new PS5 controller this year, it looks as though Sony will soon have some additional colors that will be available down the line.

New PS5 DualSense controllers seemingly leaked

New PS5 DualSense controllers might be leaked already

According to some recent leaked information by Reddit user Loyal Frost, Sony’s own webpage associated with PS5 warranties includes two DualSense models that have never been officially released. Sony displays “Metallic Gray” and “Metallic Red” variations of the PS5 DualSense controller in a dropdown menu on the website. This is significant since, as far as the general public is aware, neither of these controller colors actually exist at the moment. As a result, it appears like Sony may be getting ready to announce these new models. Of course, at a later date before making them available for purchase.

Naturally, it’s important to emphasize that “leaked PS5 DualSense controllers” may have been an error on the side of Sony. That Metallic Gray or Metallic Red controllers may not actually be arriving in the future. However, given that this information comes from from Sony, it raises some serious concerns about what PlayStation-related initiatives may be in the works.

The PS5 DualSense controller is currently available in only eight different configurations. White, Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, Galactic Purple, Grey Camouflage, and the limited-edition controller associated with God of War Ragnarok are among these colors. As previously reported, the DualSense Edge “pro” version of the controller debuted this past week as well. Besides the new PS5 DualSense controllers being leaked, we have more articles:
