The aspect of Resident Evil 4 that was perhaps the worst in the original game won’t be prominently included in Capcom’s upcoming remake. Resident Evil 4 will now arrive on contemporary platforms in a little more than a month. Fans of the original game have been curious about how many modifications will be made in this remake. But actually Capcom has previously demonstrated a good deal of the game in action. Fortunately, we now know that one of the most contentious features of RE4 will be left in the past. All thanks to fresh information that has recently become available.

Resident Evil 4 Remake ditched the worst feature of the original

It was revealed that the remake of Resident Evil 4 will eliminate some QTEs in a new cover article from Game Informer. For those who played the original RE4, QTEs were present frequently. They were really infuriating. Fans have frequently criticized a late-game segment in the Resident Evil 4 from 2005. Because it included a pseudo-boss battle that was solely based on QTE prompts.

Resident Evil 4 may still contain some QTEs, although Capcom has claimed that they have chosen to do away with this element in favor of more interesting gameplay features. And while it remains to be seen how those new mechanisms turn out, most Resident Evil fans will probably be pleased with this development. Resident Evil 4 is slated to release on March 24th of next month, in case you haven’t already marked that date on your calendar. When it happens, it will be playable on the PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X. Besides Resident Evil 4 Remake ditching the worst feature of the original game, we have more articles on our website.
