With the arrival of Sonic Colors: Ultimate, the selection of fantastic Sonic the Hedgehog titles available to Steam users just got bigger! Sega brought Sonic Colors: Ultimate to the platform without giving users any prior notice and only informed them after the game was already accessible. In September 2021, the remaster was made available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, among other platforms. Sega has now made up for that conspicuous omission, leaving Steam users to look on with jealously. Sonic Colors: Ultimate is currently available for just $27.99, down from its regular price of $39.99. The price cut is valid through February 13th. The tweet from Sega making the announcement is embedded below. Here on Steam, you can get Sonic Colors: Ultimate.

In 2010, Sonic Colors made its Nintendo Wii debut. The game rapidly became a popular among players despite its release during a difficult period for the Sonic franchise. Sonic Colors: Ultimate, a remastered version of the original game, was released by Sega in 2021. The remaster included a lot of enhancements, such as increased performance and aesthetics. Younger players will likely appreciate the addition of unlimited continues in Ultimate, which rewards players for earning higher ranks rather than penalizing them for having trouble with the game’s stages.
