Today, The Last of Us Part 1 PC version received a new hotfix from PlayStation and Naughty Dog. The remake of the first The Last of Us officially released on PC yesterday, however this incarnation of the game was sadly swiftly panned by users due to its various problems and other errors. Even though Naughty Dog confirmed that it was working on some upgrades, the first of many upcoming updates has just been released.

The Last of Us Part 1 hotfix patch notes are also released

The first post-launch patch for The Last of Us Part 1, aimed to largely fix problems with overall performance. Naughty Dog has recognized that it is still working through all of the various issues that players have noticed over the previous day, despite the fact that this update isn’t particularly substantial. To that aim, the studio has also urged fans to keep reporting their own mistakes through the system for submitting tickets.

“The Last of Us Part 1 has a fresh hotfix available. This update primarily focuses on performance and stability upgrades as well as other smaller upgrades, “After it pushed the update, Naughty Dog made a statement on its website. The team is actively working on a patch with further bug fixes that will be issued soon while paying close attention to player reports.

PlayStation has a solid history of distributing its first-party games on PC up until this point. It is obviously sad to see that The Last of Us Part 1 has arrived in such poor condition, particularly for those who may be hoping to play the game for the first time after viewing HBO’s TV version. Further updates similar to the one that was issued today will undoubtedly continue to be made accessible as time goes on. Hopefully this results in a significant improvement in the general quality of the game over the next few days.
