The Last of Us Part I PC version’s second hotfix patch has now been made available by Naughty Dog. The The Last of Us Part I March 30th Update, according to the release notes, contains fixes that enhance memory, performance, and other factors. It appears that this hotfix aims to increase stability and decrease crashes. In other words, it doesn’t resolve the problems with mouse panning and stuttering. The good news is that Naughty Dog is investigating these mouse-related difficulties right now. So perhaps a fresh patch will address them.

In any case, the PSO cache size will decrease with this new patch to minimize Out of Memory crashes and lower RAM needs. Furthermore, the RAM, not the VRAM, is the cause of these Out of Memory crashes. Those who have GPUs with 8GB of VRAM will profit from this. The game will switch to RAM once it has used up all of the available VRAM, as we’ve demonstrated. The following time you open the Steam client, this patch will be downloaded automatically.
