The next co-op shooter from Arkane Studios, Redfall, has finally received a release date from Xbox and Bethesda. Redfall was initially scheduled to debut in 2022 with Starfield. Starfield is another Bethesda game that had been first revealed back in 2021. We now have a precise date to mark on the calendar for Redfall’s release, even if both games were ultimately postponed to the first part of this year.

Redfall release date is May 2, 2023

Redfall was announced during today’s Xbox “Developer Direct” session, and its May 2 release date was guaranteed. Along with a ton of fresh gameplay clips for the project, the long-awaited game’s release date was announced. This gave fans a comprehensive preview of what to expect from the game. In addition to previewing Redfall’s major objectives and varied foes, Arkane also shed more light on the game’s side missions and some of its distinctive weapons.

Redfall is anticipated to be one of Xbox’s largest exclusive releases in a long time. Because Xbox didn’t end up releasing many first-party games throughout the year, 2022 turned out to be a poor year for the firm. Thankfully, this year is already showing signs of being far better. Redfall will now debut in May, and it will be joined by Minecraft Legends, which will debut in late April. Not to mention, Xbox quietly launched a new game today called Hi-Fi Rush from the same developer as The Evil Within. While the Starfield release date is yet unknown, it appears that Xbox fans will generally have a lot better year this year.

Recall that when Redfall launches, it will only be playable on current-generation systems such as PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. It will also be available via Xbox Game Pass on the first day of release because it is a first-party Xbox game. Before we end our Redfall release date article, we have an advice for you.
